The Rev. Carsten Judd Ludder - Pastor

Pastor Ludder was assigned by the Division for Outreach of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as a re-development pastor to All Saints in 2000. On February 9, 2005 he was called as the permanent pastor of the congregation.

Pastor Ludder is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC. Before attending seminary, he was a Marketing Representative for the IBM Corporation in Miami, Florida. He earned his Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. He has previously served parishes in Hendersonville NC, Miami FL, Largo FL and Tampa FL.

Pastor Ludder has one daughter who lives and works in Orlando. He enjoys riding his Harley and playing golf.

The Rev. J. Michael Brown – Assisting Pastor

A native of Massachusetts, Michael graduated with an A.B. degree, cum laude, from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and received his M.A. degree from New York University, where he was accepted into the Ph.D. program.

For thirty years he taught music, drama, Latin, and ancient history at secondary schools on Long Island, NY, and in central Florida. In addition, over a period of twenty-four years, he served as Cantor and Choir Master in a number of Lutheran, Roman Catholic, and Episcopal churches in the New York metropolitan area.

In the mid-1980s Michael enrolled in New York Diakonia, a newly formed two-year, sixty unit diaconal formation program. In 1990 he was consecrated to the Office of Deacon at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Smithtown, NY, where he served until relocating to Florida in 1994. He was called as Deacon to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Orlando and installed by Bishop Lavern Franzen in 1995; subsequently he served for nine years at All Saints until he moved to Arizona in January, 2005.

In Arizona he served for five years as full-time Children, Youth, and Family Ministry Coordinator at Mount Cross Lutheran Church in Payson. He attended Certification School at The Center for Youth Ministries of Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA, and was credentialed as a Certified Youth Minister in 2005.

Shortly before his return to Florida in 2010, he was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop William Wettingfeld, Presiding Bishop of The National Catholic Church of North America, an autocephalous catholic jurisdiction.

An Eagle Scout himself, Fr. Brown is the proud father of two Eagles, Jonathan and Timothy, both of whom are high school teachers in Orlando. A certified SCUBA diver, he also enjoys reading, study, travel, and ballroom dancing.

Tony VanCura – Seminarian

Tony VanCura is a seminarian at Luther Seminary in St Paul, MN. He is part of a new program at Luther that allows those called to ministry to complete their educational and internship requirements while remaining to live and work in their current location. As part of his learning, Tony assists in worship leadership at All Saints and participates in various ministries of the church according to his learning plan.

Tony works full time at FedEx in the Information Technology Division, has been married for 25 years and has two high school aged daughters. Each January and June, Tony travels to the Luther campus for 'intensive' sessions that last for two weeks.
